Meet Birdsong Farm’s very own royal family!

Birdsong Farm’s Princess family was started with the addition of Gaymar Just A Princess in the spring of 2008. Thank you to Don & Evon Hendrickson from Gaymar Jerseys for allowing me to add Princess to my herd.

Princess’ offspring are named after royalty. Present cows and heifers in the Princess family are Birdsong Princess Louise, Birdsong Princess Gabriella, Birdsong Princess Masako, Birdsong Princess Caroline, Birdsong Princess Diya, Birdsong Princess Theodora, Birdsong Princess Adelaide, Birdsong Princess Cecilie, Birdsong Princess Sigrid, and Birdsong Princess Josephine.

Birdsong Princess Marina VG 85

BIRDSONG PRINCESS MARINA was born at Bomi Farms on October 7, 2017. Marina’s sire is ROYALTY RIDGE FIREPOWER and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS ALEXANDRA. Marina is registered with Jersey Canada; please click on the Jersey Canada logo before to view her pedigree.

She was named after Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.

Birdsong Princess Louise GP 82

Birdsong Princess Gabriella VG 85

Gabriella was born on Bomi Farms on September 1, 2019. Her sire is HEARTLAND MERCHANT TOPEKA, and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS ZARA GP 83. Gabriella is registered with Jersey Canada; please click on the Jersey logo to view her pedigree.

Gabriella was named after Princess Gabriella of Monaco, Countess of Carladès.

She is parentage verified and tested as A2A2 for A2 Beta Casein and BB for Kappa Casein.

Gabriella’s first calf, Birdsong Princess Theodora, was born on December 1, 2021, and her second calf, Birdsong Princess Cecilie, was born on April 11, 2023.

Birdsong Princess Estelle GP 80

Estelle was born on Sicor Farms on September 23, 2019. Her sire is HEARTLAND MERCHANT TOPEKA, and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS MARINA. Estelle is registered with Jersey Canada; click on the Jersey logo to view her pedigree.

Estelle was named after Princess Estelle of Sweden, Dutchess of Östergötland.

She is parentage verified, and tested as A1A2 for A2 Beta Casein and BB for Kappa Casein.

Estelle’s first calf was born on February 1, 2022. Sadly, she passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2023.

Birdsong Princess Masako G 78

Masako was born on Sicor Farms on September 21, 2020. Her sire is DUTCH HOLLOW OLIVER-P, and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS MARINA. Marina is registered with Jersey Canada; click on the Jersey logo to view her pedigree.

Masako was named after the Empress Consort of Japan.

Masako is tested as A1/A2 for Beta Casein A2, AA for Beta Casein AB, BB for Kappa Casein, and AB for Beta Lactoglobulin.

Masako’s first calf, Birdsong Princess Adelaide, was born on October 7, 2022. She was bred with LAITJOIE LIGHTNING on May 2, 2023 for a February 4, 2024 due date, and is confirmed pregnant with twins!

Birdsong Princess Caroline VG 85

Caroline was born on Sicor Farms on November 20, 2020. Her sire is DUTCH HOLLOW OLIVER-P, and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS LOUISE.

Caroline was named after Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll (Louise Caroline Alberta) and Princess Caroline of Hanover (Caroline Louise Marguerite).

Caroline is tested as A2/A2 for Beta Casein A2, AA for Beta Casein AB, BB for Kappa Casein, and AB for Beta Lactoglobulin.

Caroline’s first calf, Birdsong Princess Ingrid, was born on December 29, 2022.

Birdsong Princess Diya GP 83

Diya was born on Sicor Farms on September 14, 2021. Her sire is ST-LO VIDEO, and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS MARINA.

​Diya was named after Diya Kumari. She is the granddaughter of Man Singh II, the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Jaipur during the British Raj. Her name is pronounced DEE-uh, and it means light, or glow.

Diya is tested as A1/A2 for Beta Casein A2, AA for Beta Casein AB, BB for Kappa Casein, and BB for Beta Lactoglobulin.

Diya was bred with LAITJOIE LIGHTNING on February 25, 2023 for a ​November 28, 2023 due date.

Birdsong Princess Theodora GP 82

Theodora was born on Sicor Farms on December 1, 2021. Her sire is GUIMO JOEL and her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS GABRIELLA.

Theodora was named after Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark.

Birdsong Princess Adelaide

Adelaide was the first heifer calf born at Falkland Dairy Farm, on October 7, 2022. Her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS MASAKO and her sire is AUDIBEL JORDAN.

Adelaide is A2A2 for Beta Casein A2, BB for Kappa Casein, AB for Beta Lactoglobulin, and AA for Beta Casein AB.

Birdsong Princess Ingrid

Ingrid was born at Falkland Dairy Farm on December 29, 2022. Her dam is BIRDSONG PRINCESS CAROLINE and her sire is AUDIBEL JORDAN.

Birdsong Princess Cecilie

Cecilie was born at Falkland Dairy Farm on April 11, 2023. Her dam is Birdsong Princess GABRIELLA and her sire is Audibel JORDAN.
